چکیده

Ca poisoning behavior is inevitable for high-calcium content flue gas, so V2O5-WO3/TiO2 (VWT) and V2O5-WO3-CeO2/TiO2 (VWCeT) catalysts with different vanadium have been prepared the Ca-doped are compared in this manuscript. The result shows Ce addition can both promote NO conversion alkali resistance. Lower 0.1VWCeT catalyst promotes its oxidability modification more suitable low catalysts. total acidity reducibility of decline after doping, active species on has strengthened by addition. CeO2 based lower loading struggle to resist sulfur poisoning, while higher favors SO2 adsorption also physically reduces cerium acidification process. In presence SO2, additional Brønsted acid sites formed rich catalyst. dynamic NH3 investigated, that doping critical SCR reaction, susceptible initially gas during actual application, but resistance may increase alkali-poisoning effect aggravated doping.

Improved Low-Temperature Activity of V2O5-WO3/TiO2 for Denitration Using Different Vanadium Precursors

This work tested two V2O5-WO3/TiO2 catalysts with different vanadium precursors for selective catalytic reduction (SCR) of flue gas NO using NH3 at 150–450 ̋C. While catalyst A was prepared using ammonium metavanadate (NH4VO3) through incipient impregnation, catalyst B was made according to the solvothermal method using vanadyl acetylacetonate (VO(acac)2) as the vanadium precursor. The catalyti...

CH3OH oxidation over well-defined supported V2O5/Al2O3 catalysts: Influence of vanadium oxide loading and surface vanadium–oxygen functionalities

A series of supported V2O5/Al2O3 catalysts were synthesized by incipient wetness impregnation with vanadium isopropoxide in isopropanol solutions and subsequent calcination. The vanadium surface density was varied from 0.3 to 11.4 V atoms/nm2 spanning the sub-monolayer and above-monolayer regions. The resulting supported vanadium oxide catalysts were physically characterized with in situ Raman ...

Application of V2O5/WO3/TiO2 for Resistive-Type SO2 Sensors

A study on the application of V(2)O(5)/WO(3)/TiO(2) (VWT) as the sensitive material for resistive-type SO(2) sensor was conducted, based on the fact that VWT is a well-known catalyst material for good selective catalytic nitrogen oxide reduction with a proven excellent durability in exhaust gases. The sensors fabricated in this study are planar ones with interdigitated electrodes of Au or Pt. T...

Vanadium pentoxide (V2O5): A van der Waals density functional study

Density Functional Theory (DFT) is one of the most reliable and widespread methods for the study of structure and electronic properties of materials through computers. The theory is exact in principle but for practical purposes an approximation for the exchange-correlation energy a small but crucial part of the total energy must be used. The most widely used approximations go under the name of ...
